PNWC-AHMP is a local chapter of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals, which supports the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) credential and other EHS&S credentials, the standards they represent, and the professionals who uphold them. In 2016, we were presented with the 25-Year Milestone Award for our contributions that have had an exceptional impact on the AHMP organization!

7:30 PM - Program: Emerging Toxic Threats by Holly Davies, PhD. Dr. Davies is a geneticist with the Department of Ecology's Hazardous Waste & Toxics Reduction Program. Her presentation will focus on newly emerging toxic threats including PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonic acid), PFAS (perpolyfluoroalkyl substances), cadmium in children's products, and more.
